Alvin Marcovici, MD

Neurosurgery

A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Marcovici completed his neurosurgical residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship training in reconstructive spinal surgery at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, with a special emphasis on spinal deformity, including scoliosis. He also earned an Executive MBA focused on medicine and management from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

Board certified in neurological surgery, he is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Association of Neurologic Surgeons, and Congress of Neurologic Surgeon. He was included as one of the “50 spine surgeons to know in 2023” in Becker’s Spine Review 2022. Dr. Marcovici also serves as member of the Board of Trustees of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra. He is fluent in Spanish and Romanian, and will see patients at 535 Faunce Corner Road and 851 Middle Street, Fall River.
