Earl Potts, Jr., MD

Dr. Potts is a native of Chicago and a graduate of Harvard University and Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York, and was recognized as an Outstanding Resident in Internal Medicine. He was a member of the National Health Service Corps and fulfilled his three-year commitment at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center.

Dr. Potts has practiced in New Bedford for more than 20 years and his work experience includes private solo practice, group practice with Coastal Primary Care, and was most recently a founding member of SouthCoast Primary Care. He has been a member of the medical staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for more than 20 years and is a past president of the medical staff. Dr. Potts is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine and is a member of the National Medical Association and Massachusetts Medical Society.
