Pediatrics
Dr. Edwards is a graduate of Boston College and the Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/DuPont Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. She has been in practice since 2000, first on Cape Cod where she served as Medical Director of School-Based Health Centers for Cape Cod Healthcare followed by her position as Director of Pediatric and Adolescent Services/Laboratory Director for Outer Cape Health Services. In 2009 she became Director of Pediatrics for HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River. Since 2013, Dr. Edwards has practiced locally.
A past Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, Dr. Edwards is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a Certified Adoption Specialist.
Dr. Edwards is accepting new pediatric patients of all ages including newborns.
