 Free Extreme Ski & Sports Seminar
November 2010
This entertaining free event will feature exciting video of adventure skiing presented by Dan Egan, one of the world's premier extreme skiers. Dan will also provide insights on pre-season warm up and how to avoid skiing and snowboarding injuries. Hawthorn Orthopedists Dr. Matthew A. Kippe and Dr. J. Mi Haisman will be on hand to answer questions about common injuries and their treatment. There will also be a trivia contest with prizes and refreshments.
When extreme skiing was emerging as a daredevil sport, Dan Egan established his reputation as one of the premier adventure skiers in the world. Warren Miller, an international award winning sports film producer for over 45 years, first recognized Egan's abilities and used him in 12 of his films. An award-winning producer in his own right, Dan has been nominated for three Emmy Awards, and his "Wild World of Winter" series continues to air today. Founder of the Egan Entertainment Network, Dan leads and participates in adventure travel trips ranging from the Alps to the Artic.
