 Two Hawthorn Medical Associates Employees Earn Awards of Excellence

Two Hawthorn Medical employees, Richard Baker and David Medeiros, were presented with "Partners in Excellence" Awards at a recent ceremony. The Partners in Excellence Award was established by Partners HealthCare System to recognize talented and dedicated employees each year for their contributions to the organization.
Richard Baker joined Hawthorn Medical in January 1998 and David Medeiros has been employed at Hawthorn since June 2002. Both work in the Facilities Department. Their supervisor, Thomas Moody, manager of Facilities & Maintenance, states, "Richie and Dave played a major role in preparation of our new facility on Faunce Corner Road, working many weeks without any time off, hanging equipment, waxing floors, moving in furniture and doing anything else that needed to be done, and yet through it all, they never complained or missed a step. We have all benefited from their hard work and their dedication to providing a better service. It's now time that we recognize them for all that they have done for us."
