 Hawthorn Now Offers Physical Therapy Services
Hawthorn Medical Associates now provides a full-range of physical therapy services at its 535 Faunce Corner Road, North Dartmouth location. Susan Bullock, PT, has been named manager of the new department. Ms. Bullock earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in New York. She has more than 25 years of experience and has held a number of positions at home care organizations, rehabilitation centers and outpatient settings. She most recently was a physical therapist at Southcoast Homecare Hospice & Palliative Care in Fairhaven. Ms. Bullock will oversee the clinic and provide assessment and skilled treatment for musculoskeletal disorders, pulmonary conditions and neurological disorders as well as pre- and post-surgical conditioning. With a focus on restoring function, improving mobility and relieving pain, treatment modalities include ultrasound, strengthening equipment, electrical stimulation, cervical and lumbar traction and therapeutic exercise.
