 Janet Morgado Certified

Janet Morgado, RN, BSN, CDE, was recently recertified as a Certified Diabetes Educator by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators after successfully completing the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators. Ms. Morgado, a registered nurse, oversees the Hawthorn Medical Associates Diabetes Management Program.
In order to be eligible to take the examination, Ms. Morgado had to meet rigorous credential and professional practice requirements. The Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential demonstrates that she has specialized knowledge in caring for people with diabetes and dedication to using the best and most current standards for diabetes self-management training.
