Allergies, like the common cold, are caused by the body's reaction to a foreign substance. Although harmless to most people, substances like pollen, dust and animal dander can cause cold-like symptoms in others.
Dr. Andrew K. Spongberg, board-certified otolaryngologist, provides evaluation and treatment of allergies. Once the specific allergen is identified, an individualized treatment plan is developed that can include prescription and/or over-the-counter medications.
